Together with Dr. Juliane Wolf (University of Queensland), Prof. Michael Groß and Lena Karwen visited the district of Elbe Elster to work on the LuTraCo project.

At FIB, we talked about closer cooperation opportunities between German and Australian companies in the agricultural sector and discussed algae-based plant fortifiers and the application of PV systems in agriculture.

In the afternoon we deepened the preparations for the planned event in the beginning of 2023 in the district Elbe Elster, which will give farmers and horticulturists the opportunity to learn more about the possibilities of Agri-PV. For this purpose we also exchanged ideas with the district administrator Mr. Heinrich-Jaschinski and talked about current challenges in the district.

The networking of international mining regions with Lusatia was also constantly an important topic on this day. Dr. Wolf’s visit and the planned cluster meeting in Brisbane (Australia) in November 2022 offer initial opportunities to promote exchange with other regions.
