In mid-June 2024, T+I, together with the company NagolaRe and Mechakon, presented the “Green Patch” project at the Innovation Day for SMEs organized by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK).

Christina Grätz presented the project under the theme: Innovations for greater public safety. The project idea met with great interest from international guests from business, science and politics. The need for innovative solutions for the recultivation of former open-cast mining areas, including by means of mat technologies, was discussed intensively, including other possible applications. Other aspects from the areas of digitalization, sustainability and agriculture were also included.
