Taste fair at Neu Sacro Estate near Forst ’25

Around 800 guests visited the eighth taste fair at the Neu Sacro estate on February 15. Organizer Bernd Starick, CEO of Bauern AG Neißetal, draws a positive balance. The fair brings producers and potential partners together and promotes the marketing of regional products.

“We are specifically looking for suppliers who produce special products but often don’t have the means to market them extensively,” explains Bernd Starick. “The trade fair offers them the opportunity to sell their products directly or to draw attention to themselves through tastings.” Valuable partnerships are also formed here.

Starick is also committed to sustainable developments beyond the trade fair. As part of LuTraCo, he works with networks such as Agri Energy and Food Systems, which promote innovative concepts for regional agriculture.

Prof. Michael Groß from T+I Consult, also represented at the trade fair, emphasizes: “We show how a successful production and economy is possible even under the challenges of structural change. Networks offer the opportunity to exchange ideas and develop solutions together.”

Bernd Starick confirms: “Food Systems enables us to constantly look ahead. The world is changing – the climate, eating habits. We are examining how we can adapt successfully and looking for new business areas.”

Another advantage of networking: “It often opens up new paths to suitable funding programs,” says Starick. For him, cooperation and innovation are essential for the future of agriculture.
