On September 6, experts from Lusatian farms, the Research Institute for Post-Mine Landscapes, Transfer GmbH of the Technical University of Ilmenau, as well as LEAG and T+I met to discuss issues of innovative and economically sustainable energy supply for farms in the agricultural sector. It focused on issues related to improving and securing energy supply by integrating AgriPV into the value chains of modern farms. AgriPV can resolve the conflict between land use for PV or agriculture. The participants agreed to prepare the content of an AgriPV workshop for all interested companies in agriculture, forestry and water management in Lusatia in order to meaningfully address the current problems on the energy market through the use of alternative energies in Lusatia.
