A PET system for utility network operators

Thomas Ebert, the managing director of the Schönborner Armaturen GmbH company in Doberlug-Kirchhain, would like to establish a deposit system for plastics with naturally reinforced fibers. The share of these materials has been increasing in recent years, reducing dependence on oil. Nevertheless, Thomas Ebert is thinking one step ahead and, together with Dr. Sebastian Steffen from Fraunhofer IAP, would like to develop methods and standards for what a return system could look like. This new project is also gaining a lot of interest from abroad.
