The Solar Solutions Leipzig trade fair was held for the first time on January 29 and 30, 2025.

More than 70 exhibitors presented their innovations in the fields of solar energy, storage technology, charging infrastructure and regenerative heating and cooling technology at the Leipzig exhibition center.

The T+I Consult team visited the event on Thursday and took the opportunity to find out about innovations in renewable energies and to engage in a professional exchange with developers, wholesalers and associations.

Of particular interest was the integration of PV systems on green roofs to increase energy self-sufficiency with simultaneous greening. The use of colored modules on façade and roof surfaces, cleaning robots for PV systems, modular and communication-based battery systems and hydrogen-powered bicycles also showed how great the innovative spirit of the renewable energy sector continues to be.

The scope of the trade fair allowed an overview of a wide range of technologies and at the same time enough time to talk to the developers about technical details and further development potential.
